The answer

The basic principle is that a menstruating woman performs all the rituals, except that she does not circumambulate the Kaaba until she becomes pure. If a woman menstruates on the Day of Arafah, she must wait in Mecca until she becomes pure, then perform the Ifadah circumambulation and the Sa'i if she is performing Tamattu'. If she returns to her country before performing the circumambulation, she is obliged to return to perform it because there is no time limit for it. Some scholars are of the opinion that she may circumambulate while she is menstruating, and she must offer a camel (badanah) as expiation. Others are of the opinion that she may take precautions (e.g., wear a heavy pad) and circumambulate if she fears missing her travel companions. The preferred opinion is that of the majority of scholars, and it is the most appropriate to follow.
