Is traveling for work in Saudi Arabia permissible or forbidden, especially since I had intended not to travel, but then changed my mind due to my family's difficult circumstances, knowing that the person who offered me the job works in an usurious bank?
A woman going out to work entails risks, and these risks increase if the work is in a country other than her own without a mahram. It is not permissible for you to travel for work except with a mahram, and under the legitimate conditions of employment. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, He will compensate him with something better, for Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the Holy Spirit breathed into my soul that no soul will die until it completes its provision, so fear Allah and be moderate in seeking (provision), and do not let the slow arrival of provision lead you to seek it through acts of disobedience to Allah, for what is with Allah cannot be attained except through obedience to Him."
