What is the Islamic legal ruling on dealing with a patient who requests to delay payment for a consultation after the examination and does not return to pay, knowing that the female doctor works in the private sector and cannot collect payment in advance?

If the situation is as described, the female doctor has a choice between two options: The first is to stipulate immediate payment of the fee before treatment. If the patient breaches this commitment, the doctor has the right to prevent her from leaving until she pays, or someone guarantees her, or she can call the police to refer the matter to a judge. The second is to treat her, and if she pays the fee, then that is good. Otherwise, she should take her address, have witnesses, and demand payment later, or simply accept her promise to pay and then demand it. If the patient denies it, Allah will compensate her. If she takes the matter to court, she may or may not obtain her right, and there is no blame on her for doing so.
