How can the differing opinions regarding a woman's uncovering of her body be reconciled, and is it permissible for a woman to uncover her hair in front of her father?

The preponderant view is the obligation for a woman to cover her entire body from non-mahram men, including her face and hands, based on the Almighty's saying: "and to draw their headcovers over their bosoms" [Quran 24:31], and the Hadith: "The woman is entirely awrah." As for in front of mahram relatives and women, it is permissible for her to uncover what is typically visible, such as her hair, face, hands, neck, and feet, due to the absence of fitna and the hardship of covering.
