Does a woman consider herself pure if she is afflicted with WASWAS (obsessive doubts), based on what was stated in Fatwa No. 232522 that she should cast aside and disregard these WASWAS?

A person afflicted with obsessive thoughts (waswas) concerning worship must cast them aside and not pay attention to them. If a woman sees the sign of purity (cessation of menstruation) and then imagines that the menstruation has not stopped, she must not heed this imagination nor give any attention to these obsessive thoughts. Instead, she should hasten to perform ghusl (ritual bath), because yielding to obsessive thoughts leads to great evil.
