Is it necessary to cite the source or preserve rights when translating and transmitting news from foreign websites, with occasional changes to some words, and is the gain resulting therefrom considered permissible?

It is permissible to transmit translated and untranslated news if its truthfulness is highly probable, and there is no obligation to mention its source unless its owner stipulates it, because its publication is considered an implicit authorization. It is better to attribute the news to its speaker to disclaim responsibility, while being cautious about what is transmitted, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is enough a lie for a person to narrate everything he hears." However, it is not permissible for the transmitter to attribute it to himself.
