What is the ruling on playing the Qur’an in a car if the sound outlets are directly next to the feet?

Listening to the'an in the car is a righteous deed, but it is not appropriate to place the speakers directly next to the legs to hear the Qur'an from below, as this constitutes an indignity to the Qur'an. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen said: "If the speakers are beneath the feet, or near the feet, then one should not play the Noble Qur'an; because for the Qur'an to be heard from under a person's foot, there is no doubt that this contains an indignity to the Qur'an." Therefore, one should only use the rear speakers or change the position of the speakers.
