What is the meaning of Al-Kalalah mentioned in the Holy Quran?

The word "Kalalah" (كلالة) is mentioned twice in the Quran, in Surat An-Nisa, verse 12 and verse 176. The "Kalalah" refers to a deceased person who has no heirs among their ascendants (father) or descendants (child). This interpretation is a consensus among exegetes, Abu Bakr, Omar, a group of companions, the seven jurists (Fuqaha' as-Sab'ah), and the four Imams. The origin of "Kalalah" comes from "Al-Ikleel" (الإكليل), which is the garland or crown that surrounds the head.
