What should I do about my family who do not pray, do not maintain ties of kinship, and reject my advice, while I feel lonely and isolated?

Maintaining kinship ties is one of the noble virtues encouraged by Islamic law. It is advised that you connect with those who cut you off, be kind to those who mistreat you, and advise those who engage in backbiting or calumny. By doing so, you combine maintaining kinship ties with enjoining good and forbidding evil. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to someone who complained about the ill-treatment of his relatives: "If what you say is true, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and you will continue to have a supporter from Allah as long as you persist in that."
