Does the obligation to maintain kinship ties, even with the hatred resulting from relatives' neglect, idleness, or foolishness, conflict with a person's right to distance themselves from those who bother them?

One must submit to the rulings of Allah because they are justice, wisdom, and beneficial, and Allah is the Knower of humanity's best interests. Islam commanded maintaining kinship ties due to their role in the development of the universe and the betterment of the world's affairs. Parents have a great right due to what they have given. A child cannot repay their parent, and abandoning kindness to them is oppression. Intellect and innate disposition agree with what the Sharia has decreed regarding maintaining kinship ties and parents' rights. Maintaining kinship ties increases sustenance and prolongs life. Objecting to a Sharia ruling by claiming it contradicts human rights is dangerous speech, and repentance from it is obligatory. Maintaining kinship ties is obligatory unless their harm extends to you. If you are harmed by them, it is permissible to abandon them to avert harm or for an overriding benefit, while gently advising them is also permissible. Being kind to parents and maintaining kinship ties are among the greatest acts of devotion.
