Is a drunken person prayed over upon his death?

One who dies while intoxicated dies in a grave sin, yet he remains a Muslim, and thus the outward rulings of Islam apply to him, such as washing, praying over, and burial in Muslim cemeteries. As for people of virtue, they may refrain from praying over him and attending his funeral as a deterrent and rebuke to others like him from committing sins.
