Should the questioner proceed with a DNA test to confirm his son's lineage, or leave the matter to Allah, especially after a previous analysis showed his weakness, and then his wife gave birth three months after the marriage?

The principle is that every child born to the wife while the marital bond exists is attributed to her husband, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The child is for the bed (i.e., the legitimate marriage), and for the adulterer is the stone (i.e., punishment and no claim to the child)."

If the wife gives birth in less than six months from the marriage, the child is not attributed to her husband, because it was conceived before the marriage.

If the wife becomes pregnant three months after the marriage contract, the child is attributed to the husband, and its lineage cannot be denied except through li'an (oath of condemnation) before a judge, provided that the husband has not previously acknowledged its lineage.

It is not permissible, according to Islamic law, to rely on DNA fingerprinting to deny lineage, nor is it permissible to prioritize it over li'an.
