Does one Saa' of food equal compensation for two days not fasted in the previous Ramadan?

It is not permissible to delay making up missed fasts until the next Ramadan unless there is a valid excuse. If the delay is without a valid excuse, then in addition to making up the fasts, an expiation for the delay is obligatory. This expiation is feeding one poor person for each day, with a "mudd" of food (approximately 750 grams of rice). A "sa‘" is sufficient to feed four poor people for four days. It is permissible to give the food expiation before making up the fasts, or after, or concurrently with them, though it is preferable for it to be given before.
