To what extent does scouting help in raising young people on Islamic faith and morals?

Scouting is an effective educational tool. If those who uphold sound doctrine, righteous principles, and noble morals establish it, and their intention is to instill sound doctrine and raise young people on the principles of Islam, then it is among the best deeds by which one can draw closer to Allah, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The best of people are those most beneficial to people." However, if it includes শরعي violations, such as prohibited music, then it is not permissible to participate in it.
