Does the turbid discharge that precedes menstruation by three days due to the use of an IUD invalidate the fast and necessitate making up the missed days?

If the yellowish or brownish discharge (al-kudrah) is among the precursory signs of menstruation, then it is considered menstruation. It is identified by the usual pains and cramps experienced by a menstruating woman. In this case, she should stop fasting and praying, and make up for the fasting days after she becomes pure. As for the yellowish or brownish discharge after menstruation, she should wait until it ceases, because that which is connected to menstruation is considered menstruation, based on the saying of 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her: "Do not hasten until you see the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda')."
