What is the explanation of the noble Hadith: "Woe to women from the two red ones: gold and dyed saffron (or safflower dyed) clothes"?

The aforementioned hadith is: "Woe to women from the two red ones: gold and 'asfoor (safflower-dyed clothes)." Its meaning is that they adorn themselves with gold and wear saffron-colored clothes, and they display themselves, perfumed and strutting, thus causing temptation. As for what Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami mentioned regarding the hadith of Abu Umamah—which he appended to the hadith of the two red ones—it is not authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It has been narrated from Al-Saffarini that this hadith and similar ones—assuming their authenticity—are interpreted as a former prohibition that preceded the authenticity of the permissibility hadiths. Therefore, the imams have agreed on the permissibility of gold and silk for women.
