What is your opinion on the narrations found in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim which indicate that the Prophet (peace be upon him) combined prayers without an excuse, as a means of lightening the burden on his Ummah, taking into consideration what was stated in Fatwa No. 33182 regarding the impermissibility of combining prayers except in specific circumstances?

The fatwa mentioned that Ashhab, Ibn al-Mundhir, Ibn Sirin, and Ibn Shubrumah permitted combining prayers out of necessity, as long as it does not become a habit. They based this on narrations stating that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, combined prayers in Madinah without fear or rain. It was deemed preferable to adopt this opinion when there is a need, such as for a surgeon performing an operation. However, jurists did not universally adopt these narrations in all circumstances due to their contradiction with the Prophet's established practice.
