Is the one most pious in the sight of Allah better than the scholar who benefits people?
The lowest in rank among the people of Paradise will have a kingdom similar to that of the ten greatest kings of the world, and Allah’s good pleasure upon the people of Paradise is greater than its delights. The highest ranks in Paradise are not exclusive to scholars alone; rather, they include the truthful, the mujahidin (those who strive in the way of Allah), the charitable, the memorizers of the Book of Allah, those who care for widows and the poor, and other doers of good deeds. Allah has called for hastening to His forgiveness and to a Paradise whose width is the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous who spend, suppress their anger, pardon people, and seek forgiveness for their sins. In Paradise, there are chambers whose exterior can be seen from their interior, and their interior from their exterior, prepared for those who speak good words, feed the hungry, and pray at night while people are asleep. And the servant should adhere to the door of worship that Allah has opened for him and attend to it.
