What is the description of making up (qada') missed audible prayers: is it done silently or audibly, with evidence?

Missed prayers are performed in the same manner as on-time prayers. If a prayer is to be recited aloud, like Fajr, it should be made up aloud. If it is to be recited silently, like Dhuhr, it should be made up silently. The evidence for this is a hadith in Sahih Muslim regarding the Prophet (peace be upon him) making up the Fajr prayer, which states: "Then he did as he used to do every day."
