Allah only destines good for a person, and His choice for them is better than a servant's choice for themselves. The entire affair of the believer is good: if prosperity befalls them, they are grateful, and that is good for them; and if adversity befalls them, they are patient, and that is good for them. This world is a realm of trial and test, and in it, the believer fluctuates so that Allah may see from them patience during adversity and gratitude during ease. For Allah tests with evil and good as a trial.
