Examples of professions far removed from doubt: The default for professions is permissibility unless there is evidence to prohibit them. Examples of permissible professions include: trade, agriculture, industry, crafts and trades, and jobs that do not involve anything forbidden, whether in the public or private sector. 3. Working at an electricity company: This work is permissible because electricity is primarily used for permissible purposes. However, if the company knows that a person is using electricity for impermissible purposes, it must cut off the power to them and not supply them with it, as continued supply would be considered aiding in sin and aggression.
