What must the sacrificer do if he intends to offer a sacrifice, and is it permissible for him to have intercourse with his wife, and will his sacrifice be accepted if he commits adultery before offering the sacrifice in the month of Dhul-Hijjah?

He who intends to offer a sacrifice must not remove anything from his hair or nails. As for marital intimacy with one's wife, it is not forbidden. Adultery, however, is a heinous major sin, and its sinfulness becomes more grievous if committed during the sacred months. However, adultery has no effect on the validity or acceptance of the sacrifice. If the adulterer repents, his repentance nullifies what came before it, and his sacrifice is accepted.
