Is he who isolates himself from people for six months after his marriage, claiming it is his wife's right, in the right, or is he failing in his duty to his friends, given that he maintains his prayers in the mosque?

The wife has rights over her husband, and he must balance these rights, such as the right of Allah, the self, the guest, and the family. Therefore, companionship with the wife, treating her kindly, and teaching her matters of her religion are all required, but not on the basis that it is a Sunnah Shar’iyyah (a legal prophetic tradition). If the husband attends prayers and fulfills the rights of his brethren, he should not be blamed for staying home and treating his wife kindly, because the best among people are those best to their families. And a friend, after marriage, should not distract his friend from his home and his duties.
