Is it permissible to buy a house with a loan from usurious banks due to insufficient funds?

If the loan is without interest, there is no harm in it. However, if it is with interest, it is pure usury (riba). The ruling does not change whether it is in Britain or elsewhere, nor does it depend on whether you possess money to buy a house or not. "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."
