Is it permissible to buy a house with a bank loan?

If the loan is qard hasan (a benevolent loan), then there is no objection. But if it is usurious, it is not permissible to take it or to build the house with it, due to Allah’s saying: (O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury) and because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes riba (usury/interest), its payer, its scribe, and its two witnesses. They must seek what is lawful and fear Allah.
