It is not a religious obligation for a husband to send his wife for Hajj at his expense, nor is a wife considered able to perform Hajj if someone donates Hajj expenses to her. Debts take precedence over Hajj, but if there remains enough money to perform Hajj, then you must perform Hajj immediately, even if you fear losing your job, as Hajj is an immediate obligation. You must perform Hajj if you possess surplus money beyond your needs and the expenses of those you support during your journey, even if it leads to your impoverishment after Hajj, provided that you possess enough for the expenses of your dependents for the duration of your departure and return.
