Does the Hadith "There is no envy except in two [matters]" contradict the noble verse "And from the evil of an envier when he envies" and the Hadiths prohibiting envy?

Whoever diminishes the importance of Ahadith has erred, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) is the expounder on behalf of Allah the Almighty. And whoever denies the Hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) has disbelieved and exited the fold of Islam.

There is no contradiction between the Hadith: "There is no envy except in two [cases]" and the condemnation of envy. The forbidden envy is wishing for the removal of a blessing. As for what is mentioned in the Hadith, it is ghibtah (benign envy), which means wishing to have the like of what another has, without wishing for the removal of the blessing from them. This has been metaphorically called envy.
