If a man dies, leaving a father, mother, wife, and three daughters, the inheritance is divided as follows:

For the father: One-sixth. For the mother: One-sixth, due to the presence of a direct descendant, as Allah states: (And for his parents, each of them is to have a sixth of what he left if he had a child). For the wife: One-eighth, due to the presence of a direct descendant, as Allah states: (But if you have a child, then for them is an eighth of what you leave). For the daughters: Two-thirds, as Allah states: (But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two-thirds of what he left).

Since the prescribed shares exceed the original denominator of the problem, the problem is subject to 'awl (increase of shares) from 24 to 27 shares. It is then corrected by multiplying the number of daughters (3) by the corrected denominator of the problem (27), making it 81 shares.

The final division will be: For the wife: 9 shares. For the father: 12 shares. For the mother: 12 shares. For the daughters: 48 shares (16 shares for each daughter).
