What is the ruling on drinking with both hands together?

The command explicitly states drinking with the right hand and forbids drinking with the left hand because Satan eats and drinks with his left. Whoever disobeys this without a valid excuse has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.

Drinking with both hands is permissible out of necessity. The Sunnah contains evidence that indicates its permissibility, such as the Prophet, peace be upon him, drinking from a vessel, a bucket, and a waterskin, from which it is understood that both hands were used together.

The statements of scholars also indicate the permissibility of drinking with both hands, especially if the vessel is large or if the right hand is weak.
