What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Whoever recites ten verses from Surat Al-Baqarah before sleeping will not forget the Qur’an: four from its beginning, Ayatul-Kursi and two verses after it, and three from its end"?

The aforementioned Hadith was narrated by Al-Darimi in his Sunan from Al-Mughirah ibn Subay‘, as a statement attributed to him (mawquf). It states that reciting ten verses from Surat Al-Baqarah before sleeping prevents forgetting the Qur’an (four verses from its beginning, Ayat Al-Kursi, two verses after it, and three from its end).

Its chain of narration is sound up to Al-Mughirah, and such a statement takes the ruling of being elevated to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, because it is not based on personal opinion. However, no Hadith imams have definitively asserted that Ibn Mas‘ud said this statement.
