Is it permissible to accept compensation from Visa company for an electronic device damaged due to misuse?

The reason for Visa company's compensation when a product is damaged is not clear, nor whether it pays unconditionally or with conditions. If the compensation is a gift due to payment with the Visa card, then if the transaction is permissible, there is no harm in benefiting from the gift. However, if it is prohibited, then it is ill-gotten gain that must be disposed of. You must verify if the conditions for receiving compensation apply to you. If it is conditioned on no negligence or misuse, and that condition does not apply to you, then you have no right to it, as Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
