What is the ruling on concealing a cosmetic procedure (lip augmentation) before marriage, and what are the implications if the husband is repelled after discovering it? Is it permissible for him to divorce her for this reason?

If a woman adorns herself by plumping her lips to deceive a suitor, she is sinful and guilty of cheating. She must repent, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever cheats us is not of us.” The husband does not have the right to annul the marriage due to this act, as it is not among the defects that necessitate annulment. As for divorce, it is permissible when there is a need for it and reprehensible otherwise. It is better for her husband not to divorce her if she is righteous and upright; rather, he should treat her kindly.
