What is the course of action and the ruling of the Sharia regarding the intervention of the wife's family in the couple's affairs? What is the solution if the wife refuses to return to her husband's home? And what if the husband refuses to take his wife back, despite his spending on her education and the expenses he bore?

A wife leaving her husband's home without a legitimate Shar'i (Islamic legal) reason is considered an act of defiance (nushooz), and whoever incites or assists her in this is a partner in sin. She must return to her husband's home, and her family should strive for reconciliation, not corruption. They do not have the right to stipulate your residence in a specific place; you may reside wherever is suitable for you. It is advisable to be patient and to address the problem with wisdom and gentleness, recalling Allah's Almighty words: "And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good."
