What should a husband do whose wife has left the home with their daughter and refused to return, and whose family has threatened to assault him if he tries to see his daughter, despite his repeated attempts to reach an understanding and fulfill their demands?

Differences between spouses are natural due to differing temperaments. The solution lies in addressing the causes of these differences. If the cause of disagreement is the wife's refusal to live with the husband's mother, then the husband must provide her with independent housing. A wife's disobedience and leaving her husband's home without his permission is an act of disobedience that requires her to repent; otherwise, she is considered rebellious (nashiz). The incitement of the wife's family for her to disobey her husband is "takhbib," which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade. If the wife does not respond to reconciliation, we advise the husband to resort to the Sharia courts to resolve the issue.
