What is the interpretation of the Hadith: "The inhabitants of Paradise will look at the dwellers of the elevated chambers above them as you see a brilliant star, far away, in the eastern or western horizon, due to the difference in status between them"? And does the Hadith indicate the possibility of attaining the ranks and stations of the prophets?

Paradise has varying degrees, and the Prophets are the highest of its inhabitants; no one can reach their status. However, some scholars have mentioned two opinions regarding reaching the Prophets' status: the first is that believers can attain the ranks of the Prophets, and the second is that the ranks of the Prophets are beyond that. Reaching the status of the Prophets does not mean equality with them in rank and virtue. The companionship mentioned in the Qur'an, as in the verse: ﴿And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger – those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.﴾ (An-Nisa/69), means seeing the Prophets and sitting with them in the same abode and sharing the same bliss, not elevating believers to their rank. For everyone has their own degrees according to their deeds. And among the completeness of Allah's blessings upon the people of Paradise is that they will not be deprived of meeting their loved ones, even if their degrees differ.
