How can a married woman, who suffers from constant nervousness and a feeling of deprivation after marriage, and who was forced to bear children and leave her job, deal with the responsibilities of marital and family life and raising children, especially with her husband's and his family's rejection of the idea of seeking specialized help?
It is advisable to ease the burden on oneself and remember Allah, for "those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured." One should also supplicate frequently, for "And your Lord says, 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.'" Furthermore, one should be mindful of Allah and patient, for "Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good." One should also appreciate the blessings of a spouse and children, knowing that married life is complementary, with each spouse having duties. It is also preferable for a woman to remain in her home unless circumstances necessitate her going out to work with lawful controls, and if a woman needs psychological treatment, she should not be prevented from consulting specialists.
