What are the supplications and means that can help a divorced woman endure and persevere in raising her children, especially given that she feels distressed when reading the Qur'an and needs someone to care for her, while the father has abandoned his responsibilities?

Raising children is one of the Muslim woman's greatest tasks, and their expenses are not incumbent upon the divorced mother, but rather upon their father. This world is a house of trial, and a Muslim must be content with Allah's decree, for "The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people, He tests them. Whoever is content will have contentment, and whoever is displeased will have displeasure." The believer must beware of despair and strive to acquire the means to repel distress and melancholy, and "Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then verily, Allah wastes not the reward of the good-doers."
