What is the ruling on owning the Holy Quran on a mobile phone and carrying it in the pockets of trousers or clothes?

It is permissible to put the Holy Quran on a mobile phone, and it must be in the Uthmani script. It is permissible to carry the Mushaf (copy of the Quran) in a pocket, whether in trousers or otherwise, provided it is protected from tearing or disrespect. It is not permissible to take the Mushaf into the bathroom except out of necessity, fearing theft. It is not permissible to place the Mushaf in the back pocket of trousers if it entails sitting on it; at the very least, it is disliked, and it may reach the level of prohibition according to some scholars. Muslims have unanimously agreed on the obligation to preserve and respect the Mushaf, and it is forbidden to use it as a pillow or to lean on it.
