What is the ruling on downloading the Holy Quran onto mobile phones?

It is permissible to download the Quran onto mobile phones for the purpose of benefiting from it through listening, viewing, and reciting, as these are blessings from Allah, and using them for beneficial purposes is better than using them for idle talk or falsehood. Moreover, benefiting from the Quran on a phone may be easier than using a physical Mushaf, as ritual purity is not a condition for touching it. Thus, a person who is in a state of minor or major ritual impurity can read it or look at it.
