If semen is pure, and prostatic fluid (madhiy) is one of its components, then is prostatic fluid (madhiy) not also pure? And who are those who hold the view of its purity? And how authentic is the saying, "Indeed, Allah has a deed by day that He does not accept by night," and is it a hadith?

Al-madhi (pre-seminal fluid) is considered impure by some groups of scholars, but three narrations concerning its impurity have been transmitted from Ahmad: absolute impurity, pardon for a small amount of it, and purity. There is no necessary correlation between al-madhi being a component of pure semen and it being pure itself. For instance, wine is impure but becomes pure if it transforms into vinegar, and human blood is impure even though a human being is pure. As for the report about "the deed of the night and the day," it has been transmitted through two chains of narration from Zubayd ibn al-Harith al-Yami and Abd al-Rahman ibn Abd Allah ibn Subat. It is a statement attributed to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), and not a Prophetic hadith.
