Is it permissible to attend Friday Prayer twice a month due to work circumstances, and what is the ruling on praying in mosques that deviate from the Qibla?
It is permissible to engage in this work, and one must strive to attend Friday prayer upon hearing the call to prayer, as Allah the Almighty says: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan is called] for the prayer on the day of Jumu‘ah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade." The majority of scholars hold that the time to proceed begins with the second adhan, while the Hanafis believe it begins with the first adhan.
Permission must be obtained from the employer. If they do not grant permission, the prayer time is exempt from the hiring period, and one must leave to perform the prayer unless doing so would cause harm to you or the work. If leaving would lead to dismissal from work and you cannot find another job, then you are excused from attending Jumu‘ah.
Regarding prayer in mosques that are misaligned from the Qibla, it is preferable to pray in other mosques that are not misaligned, if available. A misalignment that does not exceed 45 degrees is considered slight and does not invalidate the prayer. However, if it exceeds that, the prayer is not valid.
