To what extent are the rulings of Sharia suitable for human capacity?

The rulings of Islamic law are the best path for humanity, and true happiness cannot be achieved except by adhering to them, because they are founded upon knowledge, justice, light, and guidance. As Allah Almighty said: {Is it the judgment of [the time of] ignorance they desire? And who is better than Allah in judgment for a people who are certain [in faith].}

Islamic law is suitable for every time and place, and it fulfills all the needs of the human soul. It does not impose hardship on those obligated by it, as Allah Almighty said: {Allah does not intend to make any difficulty for you} and {Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.}

The concessions (rukhṣ) in Islamic law are proof of its ease. An example of this is the permissibility for the sick and the traveler to break their fast during Ramadan (definition), in confirmation of His saying, the Almighty: {Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.} The Prophet (peace be upon him) described the religion as ease, saying: "The most beloved religion to Allah is the Hanifiyyah, the tolerant (Samhah)," and "Indeed, this religion is easy, and no one makes the religion difficult except that it will overcome him."
