Does a person who is dutiful to his parents not die a bad death?

Some narrations indicate that maintaining kinship ties, especially showing filial piety to parents, is among the causes for averting an evil death. Among these is what Abdullah, son of Imam Ahmad, and Al-Hakim narrated from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "Whoever wishes that his lifespan be extended, his provision be abundant, and an evil death be averted from him, let him fear Allah and maintain his kinship ties." Al-Albani, however, declared this hadith (definition) weak. It was also reported from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab that he said: "The dutiful one does not die an evil death."
