How can I make the Qur'an my companion in this life and the Hereafter?

Accompanying the Qur’an in the Afterlife is achieved by reciting it, performing vigil prayers (Tahajjud) with it, and acting upon its dictates, so that it may intercede for its companion on the Day of Resurrection. As for accompanying the Qur’an in this world, it is by frequently reciting it, pondering its meanings, and acting upon it. To achieve this, a daily program can be set: memorizing two lines after each prayer or reviewing two pages after each prayer. This helps in completing the recitation of the Qur’an monthly or memorizing one juz’ each month.
