Is it permissible for a female doctor to alter a patient's diagnosis so that it is covered by health insurance, given that many medications are beneficial for multiple diseases, and that she is subject to pressure from patients and hospital administration to increase revenue and avoid losing her job?

It is not permissible to lie, cheat, or falsify a diagnosis of an illness to unlawfully benefit from health insurance. Whoever does so is betraying a trust, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]," and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he promises, he breaks his promise; and when he is entrusted, he betrays." And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better and provide for him from where he does not expect.
