Is the wife considered sinful if she insists on separation or a Khul' divorce from her husband, while continuing to serve him and their children, despite his bad manners and treatment?

A woman is permitted to request a divorce or khul’ (dissolution of marriage) if she is harmed by remaining with her husband. There is no objection to a woman remaining under her husband’s marital bond without spending the night with him, if the husband agrees; however, she must obey him and spend the night with him if he requests it.
