Why did the Hadith not mention the names of the thirty men who were with Tamim al-Dari on the ship, or mention anything about them?
Tamim Al-Dari is a Companion, and all Companions are upright. The narration of one of them suffices for the authenticity of what is attributed to him. No one among the people of Hadith has disagreed with Imam Muslim regarding the authenticity of this Hadith. As for the thirty men, perhaps they narrated what they witnessed, but it did not reach us. The narration of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, immortalized Tamim's words. A Muslim should not listen to those who cast doubt on the established texts of revelation.
