Is it valid for the guardian of a girl in marriage (wali) to be a father who curses the religion, does not pray, and openly shows his enmity towards the religion, while the girl is unable to advise him or discuss religious matters with him?

If the girl's father abandons prayer, curses religion, and participates in websites that malign it, then he is an apostate, outside the fold of Islam. It is not permissible for him to marry off his Muslim daughter, according to the consensus of the scholars. In this case, guardianship transfers to the grandfather. If he is not present, then to her brother, then her brother's son, then her paternal uncle. If it is not possible to refer the matter to the judiciary, then the legitimate guardians may perform the marriage contract, and the subsequent official marriage through the father will not be detrimental. The daughter must advise her father and keep him company in a righteous manner.
