Is it permissible to perform Tayammum on a face covered with sun-protective cream?

If the paint on the face is neither thick nor prevents the soil from reaching [the skin], then it does not affect the validity of Tayammum. This is because Tayammum is like Wudu in this ruling, and whatever is not sufficient for Wudu is not sufficient for Tayammum. It is obligatory to completely cover [the relevant parts] in Tayammum, according to the more correct opinion, which is the apparent narration, because Tayammum takes the place of Wudu for the two specified limbs.
