Am I entitled to obligate my wife to wear the niqab before consummating the marriage, while she is still in her family's home, knowing that her parents object to that?

Once a man has contracted marriage with a woman, she becomes his wife. However, she must obey her father as long as she is in his house, and he has not given her the dower or consummated the marriage with her. This is what Sheikh Ibn Baz preferred. In this situation, she is not obligated to obey him, but he must command her to do what is right and forbid her from what is wrong. She must refrain from what is wrong, and it is not permissible for her to obey her father if he commands her to do something wrong.
